How can i lose 12 lbs by july 4th?
I am a 13 year old boy and i want to lose 12-15 lbs by july 4th(1 month). I have a workout room with a Weider 4950(weight home gym), treadmill, elliptical, and bike thing. i want to know how i can lose this weight healthy and what i can do to lose it(not just workout) so i am 13, 5 ft 10 in and 163 lbs. Any kind of help would be appreciated.
dont do what the other guy said 4 miles is way more than u can handle what i do is eat small meals like a cheese stick and 2 slices of ham with 3 crackers and so on and i run about a block then i take a 4 min break and run again and so on i do this 3 times plus i work out too and sweat. I do push ups and lift dumbells. So really what u have to do is eat small meals measure the calories and the saturated fat its real important u measure the fats in the food u eat. And after every meal u eat work out go outside run, play sports, jump rope, go to the park and run around thats what i do. So good luck and follow what i told u to do remember meaure the fats and calories.

1) eat slowly
it takes your stomach twenty mins to realize its full, so take your time and let your stomach decide when its full, not you
2) set goals
i want to loose ___ in ___ weeks/days
3) walk instead of driving
walk to school or to the store instead of driving
4) try to cut your meals in half
for example, instead of eating half a plate of pasta, eat half, then eat "the other half" as a healthy gronola bar as a snack
hope these help, good luck!!

Work out 4-5 times a week. The best times of day for your body to exercise is either early in the morning or late at night (9 or later)
Also increasing your fiber intake will help because it will allow your body to burn more calories.
Also if your workout starts to feel like a routine, you need to increase the difficulty to challenge your body more.

Well you need to try to eat healthy. Eat 3 meals a day, but make them smaller than you would usually eat them. Limit your sida intake, and drink plenty of water. being hydrated will ease the craving for soda. Eat more protein. this does not include a hamburger! eat what you want, but just realize that you will not reach your goal if you are eating tons of saturated fat!!! Ellipticals are great. Try to do atleast 1 hour of exercise a day. It doesnt need to be all at one time. Maybe two sets of 30 minutes. Do the first set hard, but the seccond set medium. Work up to both hard. After a week you should try both hard! good luck
