What is a good piece of home workout equipment for a small apartment?
I’m a single mom living in a small apartment with very limited time/resources to get exercise in during the winter. Tried the gym but my son didn’t do well in the daycare and I don’t have a regular babysitter. Love to jog but it’s getting too dark too early to jog after work and too cold in the morning on the weekends to jog with the baby in the stroller. Looking for suggestions for home equipment I could purchase that isn’t too big.
Just to clarify, I loved the gym and would have stuck with it if my son would have been able to stay in their daycare or if I had someone regularily watch him. But that didn’t work out and the gym became expensive to keep up when I wasn’t able to go very often.
I agree about the dvd’s………Tae Bo for example is good.

Some treadmills are small and you could run on them.. Also, an exercise bike isn’t to big either. However, you could always buy work out DVD’s and just work out with them.

I suggest joining a gym for a few months to make sure you stick with it. Everyone I know has a piece of exercise equipment they paid for and don’t use, plus with the gym membership you get all kinds of workouts and can select the one you like best from there.

If you love to jog get a tredmill so you can jog on it for cardio. Get a few dumbells and your good to go.
