there is no real … there is no real tips, it depends of your shape, if your big you don’t take it the same way… if you wanna know if you’re doin the good way, you just need to see if it trains your pecs, if it’s training ur shoulders and not your pecs it’s because you’re doin the bad way… that’s it
the back should be … the back should be slightly arched to actualy gain anything from the bench press otherwise its just doing you back muscles, and dude get a actual bench
just cause ur a … just cause ur a personal trainer doesnt mean u need an expensive bar… u could put so much weight on the bar that both of u together could lift it even once lol… good tip about lifting the shoulders… i needed that one…
1.That’s a cheap … 1.That’s a cheap bar. Don’t trust a trainer at a facility that buys cheap bars.
2.A bench press expert and he does’nt have a bench.
3.Line your eyes up with the bar before you unrack? Give that a try and see what happens.
4.You don’t know a lift until you’ve spent many many reps under the bar with some weight on it. This guy has not done that.
1.That’s a cheap … 1.That’s a cheap bar. Never listen to a guy about lifting who uses a cheap bar.
2.Your an expert on benching and you don’t even have a bench.
3.Line your eyes up with the bar before you unrack? Give it a try and see what happens.
4.Unless you’ve personaly performed at least 3000 or 4000 reps in a bench press, you have no business teaching it.
Hereeeeeeeee I come … Hereeeeeeeee I come to wreck the dayyyyyyyy!
1) If you’ve ever had experience on a heavy bench press, you’ll know that you need to scoot down, AWAY from the rack.
2) You should bring the bar all the way down to your lower chest, not “stop so the elbows dont go passed the shoulders”.
3) An arched spine works better than a neutral spine.
Shoulder blades … Shoulder blades together and thats gonna arch your back a little, just so your hand slides under. That way you are working chest better.
