trying to sell off home gym set, where to start. club weider 550 weight bench?

Friday, August 27th, 2010

i have a club weider 550 weight bench system, my brother in law got it for over $500, i’ve had for about two years, its a really great home set with over five different workouts. i’d say anywhere between $250-300 is a reasonable ballpark to start…any suggestions where to post it?

I need a copy of the assembly instructions for my home gym equipment. Weider 1150 (mainly the wire diagram).?

A clear picture would be good, but a copy of a manual would be better.

i would suggest checking their website for the owners manual…

duh…

reviews on weider home gym model number 9940?

Sunday, August 1st, 2010

I am considering buying a Weider Home gym model# 9940.
Does anyone have an opinion on this model or brand? They are asking $150

Weider Home Gym Reviews

How the mighty have fallen! Once upon a time the Weider Home Gym line reigned supreme as it was the only strength training option available to consumers for home use (and York Barbell on the East coast).

Luckily for you, now there’s tougher competition in the home gym market and better choices for the same money.

It’s still hard to believe that these gyms sell well at Sears, Walmart, Sam’s Club and other big box retailers where the general buying public still has an odd curiosity with Weider Home Gyms.

Beware, Weider home gym model numbers change more often than most people change their underwear to keep the negative ratings under control, it’s best to skip this manufacturer altogether.

Go to best home gyms to see what I recommend instead of Weider Home Gyms.

Which is better, weider x factor or body by jake tower 200?

Saturday, July 17th, 2010

I’m looking for a "home gym" unit and was thinking about these two. They take up the least amount of space with the most amount of workout choices. I want to put on some muscle but mostly tone up in the chest and arms. Any opinions would greatly be appreciated!

the weiderxfactor sound very good.

How can i lose 12 lbs by july 4th?

Monday, June 21st, 2010

I am a 13 year old boy and i want to lose 12-15 lbs by july 4th(1 month). I have a workout room with a Weider 4950(weight home gym), treadmill, elliptical, and bike thing. i want to know how i can lose this weight healthy and what i can do to lose it(not just workout) so i am 13, 5 ft 10 in and 163 lbs. Any kind of help would be appreciated.

dont do what the other guy said 4 miles is way more than u can handle what i do is eat small meals like a cheese stick and 2 slices of ham with 3 crackers and so on and i run about a block then i take a 4 min break and run again and so on i do this 3 times plus i work out too and sweat. I do push ups and lift dumbells. So really what u have to do is eat small meals measure the calories and the saturated fat its real important u measure the fats in the food u eat. And after every meal u eat work out go outside run, play sports, jump rope, go to the park and run around thats what i do. So good luck and follow what i told u to do remember meaure the fats and calories.

where can i buy a weider 3130 weight system in charlotte, north carolina?

Sunday, April 25th, 2010

I live in north carolina, charlotte. i am looking to buy a weider 3130 weight system(its a home gym system) and anyways i was wondering if anybody know a store that sells this item? i already checked dicks sporting goods and sports authority but its an only online item for them, so i am wondering if there is a store that might have this item where i can buy it? and im asking this question because the shipping and handling fee is way TOO much which is about 150 dollars which is about half of what the system costs anyways and i’m strapped for cash, so if anyone knows a store where i can buy this system please respond to this post immediately please.

hmm strapped for cash eh.

Here’s what you do bud.

You can use your own system and save a few bucks , i’ll clue you in to "my" system, i call it dynamic isometrics.

If you put your forearms under the table and lifted, it would be like lifting weight you would use muscle and tendon to "curl" the table.

Dynamic isometrics a name i coined 3 decades ago or more, is simply pretending that table is there and you can pretend it’s as heavy as you want ti to be.

Lift against the weight of that pretend table, you will use muscles that you normally would use with weights, but, by pretending the table is there you also act as the weights too using both sets of muscles in opposition with each curl, tendons and muscles working against tendons and muscles you are working both your biceps and triceps at the same curl, up or down .

Thanks for the points

Wal Mart Site to Store Return problems??

Monday, April 19th, 2010

I bought a Weider Platinum Plus home gym from Walmart.com. It is a piece of poop. Bad customer service from Weider. The unit won’t go together because of their manufacturing error.

I am going to return it to the Wal Mart store.

I hear Wal Mart may charge me a shipping charge. Do you think they will if I bought a defective unit??

I use to work for Wal-Mart at the customer service desk and they will not charge you shipping, but you will not get your shipping that you paid refunded. Be sure to take your receipt!

can any1 tell me the dimensions?
